Daejeon Hana Citizens are aiming for their first FA Cup quarterfinal appearance since 2012.

Jeju United and Daejeon will meet in the round of 16 of the 2023 Hana OneQ FA Cup at Jeju World Cup Stadium at 7 p.m. on April 24.

Daejeon, who have been in the FA Cup since 메이저사이트 the last round, faced Geoje Citizens Football Club of the K4 League in the third round. Due to the tight league schedule at the time, Daejeon mostly rotated their lineup, with the exception of Joo Se-jong, who was preparing to return from injury, and Anton, who was unable to play in the next league match due to his sending-off, to get the win and stay healthy. Their Round of 16 opponent is Jeju, who defeated Changwon City Hall 2-1 in the third round. Daejeon will be hoping for revenge. They last met Jeju in the league on March 30, when they suffered a 0-3 defeat at home.

They need a win to turn the tide. Daejeon recently lost back-to-back league games to Pohang Steelers and Daegu FC. It’s their first crisis in the league after cruising after promotion.
