Justin Steele (28, Chicago Cubs), who is in the hunt for the National League Cy Young Award after his recent breakout performance, has made a surprising jump in the pitcher ratings.

MLB.com, the official website of Major League Baseball, released its top 10 pitcher ratings for both leagues on Monday (Aug. 8).온라인바카라

At the top of the list is Blake Snell, who is well ahead in the race for the National League Cy Young Award. Snell currently leads all major league pitchers in ERA.

In second place is Steele, who was ranked sixth in the last rankings. The No. 2 spot is also his highest ranking of the season.

Steele followed up his six-inning no-hitter against the Milwaukee Brewers on April 30 with an eight-inning shutout against the San Francisco Giants on April 5.

Notably, Steele struck out 12 batters in San Francisco, tying his career high for strikeouts in a single game. Riding a recent surge.

This reignited a National League Cy Young Award race that looked like it would be settled with Snell’s win. Snell and Steele are separated by just 0.05 ERA.

In third place is Gerrit Cole, the favorite to win the American League Cy Young Award, followed by Spencer Strider and Kodai Senga in fourth and fifth place.

Senga has been very good in his last three starts, posting a 1.74 ERA in 20 2/3 innings. He is currently sitting at 3.08 ERA and is on pace to break into the double digits.

Sonny Gray, Max Scherzer, Zack Wheeler, Kyle Bradish, Freddy Peralta, and Cole Reagans round out the sixth through 10th spots. Peralta and Reagans tied for 10th.

Of the 11 pitchers on the list, Snell, Steele, Cole, and Strider are the only ones who also made the list in the last release. The players ranked 5th through 10th are all new to the list.
